Egypt Getaway Trip

Egypt Getaway Package Review For Thrillophilia

(Guest post written and submitted by Karan Arora (on behalf of Thrillophilia) as part of content collaboration)

Egypt is a remarkable country, which I recently got to explore with my parents. This Egypt trip review is about my experiences and wonderful holiday memories.

Since childhood, I have been fascinated by Egyptian culture and pyramids, especially the mummies. My all-time favourite movie was ‘The Mummy’ and its sequels. After completing graduation, my father surprised me with a trip to Egypt. It was a dream come true, and I have no words to describe my feelings at that moment.

My father booked a package from Thrillophilia, our all-time travel partner. The reason why we keep going back to Thrillophilia is it takes away all the trip worries and leaves you with the best trip memories. We booked the 7-day and 6-night Egyptian Getaway package. Since this package had one of the best Thrillophilia Egypt trip reviews, it made it easy for my father to choose.

I was on cloud nine the day I knew I was going to Egypt. I called my friends to share this news and my excitement didn’t let me sleep that night.

About our trip

Egypt tour

We spent the first two days in the beautiful city of Cairo. During our stay in Cairo, we visited the Al Azhar Mosque, the Egyptian Museum, the Hanging Church, Cairo Tower and the Abdeen Palace Museum. Not to forget – on day 2, I finally witnessed the pyramids at the Great Sphinx of Giza. I have no count of the number of pictures I clicked that day.

Day 3 included a transfer to Aswan, a stunning city built on the iconic Nile River. Our highlight of this day was enjoying a luxurious cruise on the river. We also enjoyed a 5-meal course on the cruise while enjoying the beautiful surrounding views. It was a lovely experience and a top suggested activity in the reviews of the Egypt tour with Thrillophilia.

Egypt Getaway Trip

For the next two days, we stayed in Luxor, a former capital city. Some of the best places we visited were Kom Ombo Temple, Temple of Edfu, Karnak, Valley of the Kings and Deir el-Medina. We also visited the world’s greatest open-air museum. Also, we spent the two nights lavishly on a cruise. At night, I used to come outside my room just to get mesmerised by a dark blue sky full of sparkling stars.

On day 6, we returned to Cairo. It was a leisure day and also our last day of the trip so we spent the time exploring nearby cafes, talking to locals and shopping from a local market.

I also tried some traditional dishes during this trip. It included Shawarma, Koshary, Hawawshi, Keshk and Falafel. I am still not over their delicious taste, and I don’t think I ever will be.

Thank you Thrillophilia!

Besides my parents, I would like to thank Thrillophilia for making my dream come true. Everything I had expected from Egypt, I got to experience more than that. The trip included all the beautiful places I wanted to visit, and my favourite part was staying on a cruise.

The package we booked was perfect for families, solo travellers, couples or a group of friends. Also, the price for these packages includes everything from stays to meals, transfers, and attractions. It was our fifth trip with this company, and we are satisfied. I am dropping my Thrillophilia review of the Egypt trip so that readers know they are on the right platform.
