Platinum Palace Wrocław: Inside the Finest Boutique Hotel in Lower Silesia

Entrance to Platinum Palace, a 5-star boutique hotel in Wrocław

Most tourists searching for a boutique hotel in Wrocław end up comparing addresses around Rynek, browsing familiar international brands. Yet some of the boutique hotels in Wrocław sit beyond the postcard views of the Old Town.

South of the city centre is where broad avenues make way to mature trees and historic German villas. Park Południowy is an important piece of the same landscape. In Borek on Powstańców Śląskich, Hotel Platinum Palace shines in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Wrocław.

Platinum Palace is an elegant conference venue in Wrocław housed within a grand early twentieth-century palace. It combines Neoclassicist architecture, contemporary design, award-recognised dining, and boutique-scale hospitality under one roof. It’s one of the finest corporate event venues in Poland.

During a three-day stay here in May, I surprisingly felt detached from the city centre despite being minutes away. For travellers seeking a luxury hotel in Wrocław or a refined 5-star hotel in Lower Silesia, Platinum Palace offers a sublime touch

The Schoeller Residence: What a Century Looks Like When It’s Been Kept

Corporate event setup at Platinum Palace conference hotel Wrocław

The area around Borek (formerly Kleinburg in German), Krzyki, and Klecina was not severely damaged during the siege of Festung Breslau during World War II. A significant part of these buildings are pre-war villas and townhouses. This sets it apart from almost everywhere else in Wrocław, where the 1945 siege was catastrophic. The wealthiest families of pre-war Breslau built their villas in Kleinburg (Borek), and some of them have still retained their original charm.

When the architect Felix Henry designed a villa for the Schoeller family in 1906, there was reportedly nothing comparable in all of Wrocław. The property sat on the edge of the city, backing onto Park Południowy, one of Wrocław’s finest green spaces. Over the decades, the building served as the seat of the Wrocław Academy of Music (Karol Lipiński Academy of Music) before being transformed into a five-star boutique hotel in Wrocław. It has retained every carved motif, every stucco detail, every gilded edge of its original interior.

In this Wrocław boutique hotel’s recent history, a contemporary wing was added. It is connected to the original palace via the lower ground floor. This new building is where the balcony rooms are, and where we stayed during our three days in May. The South Park’s view from the room is one of those details that upgrades a stay from comfortable to memorable.

The underground connection leads you past the billiards room, a salon, and private event spaces. In the newer wing’s lower level, there’s a SPA with a Jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, and massage options.

Why Platinum Palace Stands Out As The Finest Boutique Hotel in Wrocław

Platinum Restaurant inside Platinum Palace Wrocław

Several luxury accommodations in Wrocław are unique in their own way. International chains dominate the city centre, while several established five-star properties compete for the same business and leisure travellers. What makes Platinum Palace different is that it operates on a boutique scale.

With just 46 rooms, the hotel feels closer to a private residence than a conventional luxury property. Guests get to experience a restored early twentieth-century palace, its contemporary wing overlooking Park Południowy, an award-winning restaurant, conference facilities, wellness area, and more.

Most luxury hotels in Wrocław focus on proximity to Rynek. Platinum Palace offers direct access to one of the city’s most attractive green spaces while remaining a short drive from the centre. For some travellers, particularly those on business commitments with a desire for quiet surroundings, that distinction can be decisive.

Forty-Six Rooms, Each Different

Luxury guest room at Platinum Palace Wrocław

Platinum Palace runs 46 rooms across both wings, each individually designed, and of an accurate size for a boutique property of this calibre. The hotel is small enough for the service to remain personal, large enough to accommodate a corporate group in Poland.

Rooms in the contemporary wing come with balconies and overlook the park. The finish is what you would expect at this level: marble, properly stocked minibars, laptop-sized safes, quality bedding, and air conditioning. But the detailing is what separates this from a standard business hotel room of a luxury hotel in Wrocław. The aesthetics inside feel thoughtfully crafted.

For VIP guests or group principals who need a step above the standard, suites and apartments are readily available. For MICE planners in Poland, the ability to accommodate a leadership team in suites while the broader group occupies standard rooms is a huge advantage. The property can effectively become yours.

The Breakfast Hall — Worth Waking Up For

Fresh breakfast selection at Platinum Palace boutique hotel Wrocław

Breakfasts are my absolute favourite in any executive retreat in Poland. I am going to dwell on breakfast at Platinum Palace as it deserves it. The setting alone makes a grand impression with the historic hall, ornate and high-ceilinged, with the terrace on the backside. It is a calm place to indulge in a hearty, locally sourced meal.

Most items are prepared in-house. For example, bread baked on site, cheese and jams made on the premises, and hummus that I specifically mentioned to the staff while checking out. Fresh fruit, good coffee, and a wide selection that felt abundant. This was the kind of proper breakfast that sets the day up!

The terrace adjacent to the Platinum Restaurant Wrocław is worth a mention. It overlooks the hotel’s green surroundings, is quiet enough for a working morning, and elegant enough for an intimate corporate breakfast or a slow coffee with a view.

Platinum Palace for Corporate Groups & Incentive Travel Poland

Four Conference Rooms

For MICE planners and corporate buyers, Platinum Palace offers four conference rooms under one roof, each with a distinct character and capacity.

Noblige Hall is the flagship: 100m², capacity for up to 70 people, fully equipped with multimedia and appropriate for everything from a company-wide annual meeting to a product launch dinner – a speciality that makes it an ideal MICE venue in Wrocław

Marron Room accommodates up to 60 participants and is available from noon, suited to afternoon conferences, half-day workshops, or evening events.

Platinum Club handles 30 guests, the right size for senior leadership meetings, strategy off-sites, and board-level gatherings. This is where the environment matters as much as the agenda. It’s an ideal pick to host a corporate event in Wrocław.

Ivory Room seats up to 20 and is best for executive briefings, small training sessions, and intimate client dinners.

All four rooms come with state-of-the-art multimedia and hotel-wide WiFi. The full backing of an in-house events team means catering — coffee breaks, plated lunches, and buffet formats are handled efficiently. Monitored on-site parking covers delegates arriving by car. Access to the A4 motorway is direct, and Wrocław Copernicus Airport is approximately 11km away.

From Boardroom to Gala Dinner

One of Platinum Palace’s less obvious strengths is its flexibility across a single day. A delegate group can arrive for a morning session in Noblige Hall, take lunch in the Platinum Restaurant, use the SPA in the afternoon, and head to a gala dinner in the historic hall by evening. All of this can be done without leaving the property. That’s precisely what incentive travel programmes are designed to deliver.

The property also hosts weddings and private celebrations.

Restauracja Platinum — Wrocław Restaurant Week Favourite, Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Recognised

Modern Polish cuisine at Platinum Restaurant Wrocław

The Platinum Restaurant holds two hats in the Gault&Millau 2026 guide and has been recognised by LaListe in both 2023 and 2025. A ranking that puts Platinum Palace among the best small hotels in Poland. In their restaurant, they serve Modern Polish Cuisine, led by Chef Adam Skwarło, with wines curated by sommelier Paweł Tomaszewski.

The menu ranges from octopus carpaccio to white chocolate panna cotta, which gives a sense of the diverse range and is rooted in Polish produce. The restaurant operates across three halls, including access to the Insomnia Bar for post-dinner drinks, spirits, and a wine selection worth exploring.

For groups, the ability to host a private dinner in an award-winning restaurant inside the venue itself is an elite offer for a boutique hotel in Wrocław. If your delegates are flying in from Western Europe or further, this is a touch of class that will significantly amplify your MICE event in Poland.

Location Park Południowy Wrocław (South Park)

View of Park Południowy near Platinum Palace boutique hotel Wrocław

The back gate of the hotel opens directly into Park Południowy. The hotel was laid out between 1892 and 1896 on land gifted to the city by Julius Schöttländer, one of Wrocław’s wealthiest philanthropists. The park covers 25 hectares of landscaped paths, old-growth trees, a central pond, and a gazebo on Bender Hill. You can walk from your room to a park bench in under five minutes.

For leisure guests, this is a big advantage. It’s quiet at night, green during the day, and only a 12-minute drive to Rynek. For corporate groups, the proximity to the A4 motorway and the airport makes it a venue for delegates to arrive hassle-free.

While arriving, take a moment to stop at the Borek water tower on Sudecka Street. It makes a great pit-stop. This neighbourhood is residential, lush, and constantly echoes of resident birds.

A Boutique Hotel in Wrocław, Cut Above The Rest

Platinum Palace Hotel, located next to South Park, is for everyone looking for special treatment. It is for guests who want a conference hotel in Wrocław that has an identity that comes from architecture, history, and a distinguished restaurant.

Whistling Hound with General Manager of Platinum Palace boutique hotel Wrocław

For incentive travel groups, this is a venue that becomes part of the story. Delegates do not go home describing the conference room. They describe the breakfast hall, the billiards room, and the evening in the restaurant. That is what LaListe-ranked boutique properties deliver that chains cannot.

For corporate meetings and team away days, the combination of four flexible conference rooms, full catering, SPA access, and unified access is rare at this price point in Poland.

For weddings and special occasions, the historic interiors, terrace, and in-house events team offer a level of refinement that Wrocław’s larger venues cannot replicate.

For leisure travellers who have moved past the OTA-recommended city-centre options and want something that rewards the extra ten minutes in a taxi, this is the discovery.
